Research Ethics

You choose research participation during signup and can change it at any time from your research dashboard. Withdrawing consent stops all future inclusion; already-published aggregate results cannot be recalled.

Direct identifiers are stripped before any dataset leaves the vault. Cohorts smaller than the minimum threshold are suppressed to prevent re-identification.

Every study is reviewed by an independent ethics committee before recruitment. Study purpose, sponsor, and data scope are shown to participants before they opt in.

Contributions are compensated in MEDI. Compensation is never conditioned on continued participation, and declining research has no effect on your access to care.
